Implant Supported Dentures& Bridges

PORTISHEAD, BRISTOL

A denture is a fabricate prosthesis that can be used to replace all missing teeth.  They are made of an acrylic base shaded to match the natural color of your gum tissue and the fabricated teeth attach to the top.

An implant supported denture is used when a person does not have any teeth in the jaw but has enough bone. The implants have special attachments that snap on to the denture. The denture can be taken out and cleaned, but ones snapped in, it will be very stable in the mouth.

Implant-Supported Bridges: A Modern Alternative

Implant-supported bridges are very similar to traditional bridges. However, instead of being supported by dental crowns placed over adjacent teeth, implant-supported bridges attach to implants embedded in the jaw.
